Globally, an estimated 71% of enslaved people are women and girls. This demand has grown rapidly in the past 10 years and now affecting many countries throughout the world. Most commercial sex groups utilize the Internet to market their female commodities.

Percent of the Victims in the Commercial Sex Trade are Children

Within the past 5 years the demand on female children as young as 8 with the average demand being 11 years old make up over 51% of the demand and growing rapidly in the commercial sex trade. These children are drugged, raped continuiously, forced to watch porn movies so that they will know how to sexually perform prior to being sold to a "John."

Children are Subjected to Over 30 Men a Day

Child victims are forced to have sex experiencing up to 30 rapes or more times a day and with multiple people at any given time. The life expectancy of forced sex trafficking of a child victim is 7 years and after that cleaned from drugs and killed for the purpose of selling their organs. Studies have revealed most "Johns" who purchase sex are over the age of 35 and have children.

The Reality of Teen Dating Violence...
    •  Girls and young women between the ages of 13 and 24 experience the highest rate of intimate partner violence — almost  triple the national average.

    •  Among female victims 94% of those age 16-19 and 70% of those age 20-24 were victimized by a current or former boyfriend or girlfriend.

    •  Violent behavior typically begins between the ages of 12 and 18.

   •  The severity of intimate partner violence is often greater in cases where the pattern of abuse was established in adolescence.

    •  19.3 million women and 5.1 million men in the United States have been stalked.

It’s estimated that internationally there are between 20 million and 40 million people in modern slavery today.
 
♦ Assessing the full scope of human trafficking is difficult because so cases so often go undetected, something the United Nations refers to as “the hidden figure of crime.

♦ Estimates suggest that, internationally, only about .04% survivors of human trafficking cases are identified,

♦ Human trafficking earns global profits of roughly $150 billion a year for traffickers, $99 billion of which comes from commercial sexual exploitation.
